Plan your visit to Dover, Ohio, home of the World’s Master Carver, to view Ernest Warther’s carving collection, the button collection, Swiss gardens, family home and original workshop, and arrowhead collection. Museum hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Winter hours (January/February) are 10am to 4pm, seven days a week.
The Warther Collection is unlike any other in the world. The Warther Museum showcases sixty-four of Ernest Warther's ebony, ivory, and walnut hand-carved masterpieces. In addition to his carvings, the collection contains his wife, Frieda's 73,000 piece button collection, Swiss-style gardens, and 5,500 piece Native American arrowhead collection.
Located on eight acres of park and garden landscapes, the Warther Museum and Gardens is the perfect location for any occasion from showers and parties to ceremonies and receptions. Guests are able to choose venues from: the Warther Museum facility, the Warther Gardens, the Warther Gazebo, the Warther Caboose, or the Warther Grounds.
