On Monday, January 15th at 1pm we will be having our first of the 2024 Warther Signature Program Series: Frieda Warther- Artist and Button Collector. This program will be all about Frieda Warther, the wife of the carver. We will breakdown Frieda’s artwork as she amassed thousands of buttons over the course of her lifetime. Some of her buttons will be focused on as well as her patterning and methods. We will also cover how we have preserved these, transferred them, and just how deep her collection goes into our archive. Frieda was an amazing artist in her own right and we want to take the opportunity to shine a light on her works. If you are interested in learning more, join us on January 15th. Program tickets are $22 for adults/seniors, $10 for students, and members are $5. All program tickets include full museum admission (guided tours are at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm).
