In 1985, Dave Warther hosted the first WartherFest to celebrate what would have been Mooney’s 100th Birthday. This year, we are hosting WartherFest in June to celebrate Mooney over the last 140 years! We want to remember “Mooney Warther Day” put on by the city of Dover in June of 1963 and thank the city and its residents for years of support by also hosting half-priced admission for all Dover residents. Additionally, there will be guided nature walks of the grounds and arboretum, workshops and programs for both adults and students, and family activities.
